I just got a new Westinghouse 32 LCD and have hooked it up to one of my FE's. When I use the HDMI input and have it my XF86Config-4 file set to 720p the video is very small and squashed. If I use the VGA input on the TV and and use the 720p ratio of 1360x720 the movie is in the right size filling almost all of the screen but the picture doesn't look as good.

I found that in mplayer I could use the -monitoraspect 16:9 option to make it fill most of the screen. I have been unable to find any setting in Xine that would do the same. Does anyone know of a setting or what setting I am missing?

I am using 5D1.

Thanks for the help.

(updated) found in another post that if you put -r 16:9 in the options for Xine that seems to fix the issue.
