Hi People,

I have searched the form and not been able to find the answer to this simple question. I might just be brain damaged today.

Can anyone tell me what is the default user or password to VNC on R5E50, or where to change it. I tried as root and my default user and mythtv user. I can connect and it prompts me for a password, I just can not find which one it is. Or is there a config file that blocks access for IP's for VNC.

It should be the password for the mythtv user.

look in /home/mythtv/.fluxbox/apps

if your mythtv user password is mythtv, it should read like this:

[startup] {/usr/bin/x11vnc -nap -wait 50 -passwd mythtv -display :0 -forever -o /var/log/x11vnc.log -bg}

The default password for mythtv is mythtv. Read the VNC wiki entry for greater details.
