Searched the forums for this, what is a non-US locale code ?

gb, UK etc all just give me 8 US sources ......

the locale code for the uk is "en_GB"
you can type "locale" at the command prompt to see.

Or, if you mean the code that is used at install time for Zap, MythWeather, et c, then just go to weather.yahoo.com, find your country in the "Browse ... International Forecasts" section, and look at the URL that you are taken to.

Sydney, Australia is ASXX0112, and my local airport is ASXX0273.

Ah,

Now I see, I thought the locale in the config was to set things like Keyboard, time layout etc, not the mythweather settings.

So the only way to set the keyboards etc to UK rather then US to edit the xorg.conf file for xwindows and the other command d i can never remember :oops: for the tty sessions.
