I just installed a fresh copy of R5E50 and fat-fingered the password for the http://labs.zap2it.com membership during the setup.

How do I go about changing it to the correct password - I cannot find it in the UI??

I am not a true newbie, but I am definitely no expert.

Thanks for any guidance!

You should find it in mythtv-setup, under your "3. Video Sources" setup(s). I am running R5D1, I believe it's the same for R5E50.

BTW, is it still in plain text in R5E50?

yes, it is still in plain text - there should maybe be an "unmask" checkbox option instead (if anyone is listening...)

Also, thanks for the url - I did search the forums for an answer, but I was probably barking up the wrong tree.

mythfilldatabase now runs just fine, except that when I restart the backend and try to view the guide, no shows have been populated.

This is true even after a reboot.

Should I just re-install fresh since I don't have anything saved on there anyway?

Thanks!

Have you run mythfilldatabase?

Have you created any lineups at Zap2It? If mythfilldatabase ran without errors, you certainly should have program guide data.

Looks like I hit "Submit" too soon there. The quesiton was supposed to be more along the lines of "have you run it and checked at the output to see if there are any errors?"

I have an account at labs.zap2it.com.

Yes, I have run mythfilldatabase and it finishes without errors, and it then restarts the backend for me.

I do not find any listings when I restart the frontend.

I hope this makes things clearer.

any help is greatly appreciated!!

Look directly at the DB. I had some SQL queries posted around here somewhere to get record counts from the various tables (search for "select count from" with me as the author). If the tables contain data I'm guessing it's something trivial like failing to set up the input connection. If you don't have a capture card defined or don't have the "Video Source" associated with the "Capture Card" under "Input Connections" you won't get any listings showing up since it only shows you stuff that your cards can reach.
