I have a dual tuner setup with hd5000 and pvr150. I am having trouble with the channel information. On my sdtv channels it lists adding channel in the program guide. In the hdtv channels it lists unknown. My cable provider does not provide the hdtv tables so I had to scan channels manually before this upgrade. How do I get all the channel information to be assigned with the correct channels.

I set up a second channel list in Zap2It of all of my area's ATSC channels from OTA. I assigned that list to my HD-5000, and it works great.

Could you tell me how you did that. I can scan channels with either the pvr150 or the hd5000. I get correct guide data but the channel station id is not linking up with the channel number.

I would like to know this as well.

This setup (SDTV and HDTV) requires 2 lineups @ Zap2It, as punditguy said. One for your analog or digital cable channels feeding the PVR-x50, the other is "Local Broadcast Listings - Antenna" to cover your HDTV. A quick rundown of mythtv-setup:

* Create your 2 video sources (let's call them Cable and HD) - Cable points to the cable lineup at Zap2It, HD to the Antenna lineup.
* In Input connections, choose the appropriate input for your x50. Select "Cable" as the Video Source, and "Fetch channels from listings source" Do NOT "Scan for channels", this somehow hoses your database
* In Input connections, choose the appropriate input for your <HDTV tuner>. Select "HD" as the Video Source, and "Scan for channels". From http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=12562 :
Quote:
When you "Scan for Channels" in mythtv-setup, check the following:

* That your "Frequency table" is set correctly (same as for your PVR-x50s)
* "ATSC Modulation" is correct (most likely QAM-256)
* Change "Channel Separator" to whatever is valid for you - Try whatever Zap2It shows you first, you may have to play with this.

...then scan away. Number of channels you pickup depends on what your cable company passes through in the clear.

One problem I had when I setup HDTV was the splitter I was using on my cable. Cheap Radio Shack splitters, at least for me, would not pass through enough signal for some channels to be picked up. Went to the cable company and got one of their splitters, all is fine.

This is how I configured my system (PVR-150, PVR-350, Fusion HDTV RT Lite), hopefully it will get you started...

That was the problem. I scanned before I fetched.
