Is there a way to automatically fill in the Channel Names?

I have just been updating them in mythweb by changing the callsign value, but this wont work if my cable co. changes lineup or I move.

Okay I figured it out.

Rerun mythtv-setup

Do not scan the channels this time.. just download the channel data from the internet.. it should show up with the proper channel names.

Note - If you have a downloadable program guide like this you should not scan for SDTV channels since it will only screw things up.

Under "5. Channel Editor", if you have a downloadable channel lineup and program guide like zap2it, DO NOT scan for SDTV channels. Doing so will corrupted the lineup information, and you will neeed to drop all of your "Video Sources" then recreate them and your "Input Connections".

It might be worth reviewing the mythtv-setup walk through on that page.
