I have xine setup as my dvd player using the suggested settings for de-interlacing and post-processing. I am happy with it for that.

But, I am viewing on a 1080p monitor, and the upscaling looks pretty rough. Lots of aliasing especially on text. I feel good about my xorg.conf settings because broadcast HD looks great, and even broadcast SD looks ok. I think it's an issue with how xine scales.

Any ideas on where scaling can be adjusted? I can't find anything in the advanced xine controls.
