Ok. Here is my setup. I have KM R5D1 w/.20 svn-fixes running on a master backend-HD frontend. I also have a gentoo Slave backend that I built for commflagging, and transcoding. I also use this for a 2nd air2pc card, that there is no room for in my master/front. Now, the master/front sees the card, but shows it as unavailable card 8. The master/front has a pvr150 (card1) and a air2pc (card2) both of these work, but it always reports "Input in use" when I try to change to a channel on the slave's card. Now on the the slave, I can scan for channels, and do everything normally.

I guess my question is, should I blow away all my card references, and start from scratch, to possibly get the 2nd HD card to come back as (card 3) rather than (card 8) and see if that resolves the issue.?.?

Thanks.

The database information was not correct for the slave tuner card, it was shown as card "8" after changing the database to show it as card "3" everything was once again happy.

:P
