Hey there,

I'm getting the following out of my fairly well running R5D1 setup..

I'm not doing anything on the box... and the MYSQL table check seems to be ok per http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1043

Any help would be appreciated...

Thanks - Ben

Code:
Sanity checking your backup...

Checking the integrity of the compressed backup file...
Compression looks OK.
Generating a list of the backup contents...
Generating a list of the directory contents...
Comparing directory versus backup contents...
Live and saved file lists match.

Checking DB dump
Generating a list of tables and record counts in the DB dump...
Generating a list of tables and record counts in the live DB...
Comparing live versus saved tables...

Warning, table lists are not identical!

The backup is bad or already out of date!

You can ignore that, it happens because you've got the "log to db" option enabled under settings, and when the backup script shuts down the backend server to avoid exactly this problem (of the DB changing during the backup), the FE complains, and writes the message in... (wait for it...) the DB... Sigh... Talk about unintended consequences...

The version of the backup script in R5E50 is smart enough to ignore differences for that table. :-)

Ok, so you're saying that even though my R5D1 backup fails.. I'm good to go upgrading to R5E50?

Yes yes?

Awesome!

I've been waiting for the next version with Myth 0.20 so I can get my HDTV running.. Hopefully they fixed the SMP problem too.

Thanks for the fast replies!
