hey guys im running R5C7 and am going to build 2 frontend units soon, i was thinking of updating my server/backend while i was at it, my question being, does the upgrade reset all channel lists ect as i have pay tv and HEAPS of channel info i really dont want to re-do, same as all the remote tweaks and .xmltv files Is the upgrade just "over the top" of the existing instalation or WILL there be more setup?

Upgrading replaces everything in your root partition (which is basically everything other than /myth) with the new image from the CD. It then does a restore from the backup you supply.
