I've now changed the font to Freetype Mono as that's what I use for everything else in Myth (it's seems to be the default).

Glad I could help. As for Helvetica not being AA'd, I think it might have something to do firstly with the font not being installed in a default Knoppmyth install (it's likely part of the msttcorefonts package).
