I am using a USB flash disk to update my listings every few days as I don't have connectivity at home.
My problem is this:
After a fresh reboot, the flash disk will mount automaticaly at /media/usbdisk, no problems there. But if I remove it and come back tomorrow, it mounts at /media/sdb1, or sometimes not at all.
Do I need to unmount it manualy before removing it?

Thanks, Douw.

If its mounted, you _need_ to umount it before removing it!!!

Get a keyboard? One of those cheap IR keyboards will do. I love mine, and I've taught some of the keystrokes to my Harmony880 remote.
Then you could add something to your /etc/X11/fluxbox/keys to call an unmount command or script, then bind the key to a command on the remote. Like Alt+U, for example.

Maybe you could modify the theme to call an unmount script?
See: /user/share/mythtv/knoppmyth.xml

You could add a command there, really easy. See other entries in that file for examples.
ex:

Code:
   <button>
     <type>VERSION</type>
     <text>Version</text>
     <action>EXEC /usr/local/bin/ver.sh</action>
   </button>
