So I wanted to change my audio sampling rate on my PVR-150 from the default 48000hz, to 44100hz. I figured out how to do this for tuner 0 is
Code:
v4l2-ctl -c audio_sampling_frequency=0 -d 0

But every time I switch from tuner 0 to tuner 1 and back, tuner 0 gets reset to audio sampling frequency 1 which is 48000. If I just change channels on tuner 0 though, it stays at 44100. Can anyone tell me how to get it to either stay at 44100, or how to reset it after each tuner change?
Thanks.

You need to change it in the recording profiles. From the main menu:

Utilities/Setup -> Setup -> TV Settings -> Recording Profiles -> MPEG-2 Encoders

You should find 4 profiles there, the audio settings are on the 4th screen for each.

Sorry, I should have added I tried that, and it is a dropdown box with only 1 choice (48000). I wasn't able to type anything into it.

So I guess it is not easily possible to change the audio sampling rate in MythTV permanently, since the "Recording Profiles" menu has only 1 choice?

You can always poke them into the DB. I seem to remember there being more than one option in the past.
