Newbie here... and not too linux savvy.

I installed R5C7 and can not find the menu too configure the TV guide (zap2it) service. Is there a command for the command line to download the data in to the database? I feel really silly because I have spent an hour trying to navigate the menus to download the zap2it TV guide data.

Any guidance is greatly appreciated :)

ALT+S Will take you into mythtv-setup, then "Video Sources" to add a source for zap2it, exit back to frontend.

When done ALT+CTRL+F1, login to the console and run command

Code:
mythfilldatabase
that will force EPG population from Zap2it.

ALT+CTRL+F7 to return to Myth Frontend.

Thank you!
I am now able to toggle between the 3 states and able to view the TV guide info: hopefully it downloads automatically or else I'll have to figure out how to set that up.

No worries, it does. Just keep your Zap2it account updated every 3 months when they send you a reminder.
