Is there a way to watch video as it downloads? I've got MLBTV streaming to my /myth/video directory, but every time I go into video manager it seems to take a snapshot of whats there at the time. Is there a way to get it to autoupdate or something, so the video can be watched on a slight time delay?

I just wanted to update this. I apparently had some hokey file that gave me a problem, but it seems I was wrong about the effect. Watching a downloading file seems to work nicely.

This is a very cool setup. The game I'm watching is blacked out on cable but not on mlbtv. So I have:

win98 <-- samba ---- > mythTV

the file is streaming to the win98 box and I'm capturing it on an SMB share to the mythTV video directory. I'm watching on about a 20 minute tape delay. Its a 700Kbs stream and it looks pretty good in a 40" window on my 60" TV. Its a bit grainy in full screen mode. My TV has the capabilty to scale to a window. Overall its pretty cool and a lot better than watching on my PC.
