After upgrading my system to the latest XMLTV, MythTv (from SVN Fixes tree) and using Schedules Direct listings, I am having an unusal problem with my IR blaster. The IR blaster is a home made one that goes from my serial port to an IR LED. Now, if I go to a command line and enter "change_chan.sh 105" (change_chan.sh being the channel changing script I use) it will tune the cable box to channel 105 correctly so I know Lirc, my script and my IR blaster are all working fine. If I go into MythTv and start watching TV, I will change the channel manually by entering 120 and press enter, it will start sending random 6 digit numbers to the box. I am not sure what's going on here. If I select a station in the guide, it will do the same thing.
Anyone have any thoughts on this?
Thanks.

Have you went back into the mythtv-setup Channel Editor (or MythWeb) and checked the values in the Frequency text field are the correct values to be sent to the STB?

I'm not sure what you mean by the Frequency tect field but when I go into the channel editor in mythtv-setup, under the Cahnnels box there are entries such as "Adding Channel 12 (12) (iocable)". If the two numbers have to match (one indide the bracket and the one outside the bracket) then yes, all of these entries match for each channel. There is also a "Channel Scanner" button and a Transport Editor" button When I click on the transport button, nothing is under the DVB Transport Editor, the only thing listed is "(New Transport)"
**UPDATE**
I just downloaded the SVN fix tree again and recompiled it and installed MythTv. I deleted the video source and recreated it. I went onto MythWeb and I see that the channel number and the "freqid" fields match each other. There is another field called "xmltvid" that has a 5 digit number in it, kind of similar numbers that were getting passed to my IR Blaster. Unfortunatley I am not home right now to test the IR blaster to see if it is changing the channels properly. But when I get home I will test it and if it still passes random numbers if so I'll see if they match the numbers in the xmltvid numbers.
Could this be possible that it may be passing the xmtvid numbers to the IR blaster instead of using the freqid?

Not much of a fix but what I did was re-download the SVN of MythTv and Plugins and re-compiled and installed. After doing that everything began working fine.
Before doing this, I did a "make clean" prior to doing an "svn update" so I am not sure what happened. Whatever the problem was, it has been resolved by just getting a fresh copy.
