I have tried to install the new R5F27 om my present KM backend. I did try a completely new install as i from tjc have read that many modules have been upgraded and I wanted these new version. At the same time my old setup was upgraded from many version ago so it was time for a fresh install.

Unfortunately i can't get the tv_grab_dk to work. It gives the error that:
Code:
no channels could be found at /usr/bin/tv_grab_dk

I can scan for channels and they come up ok and everything look ok on the backendscreen. I can se the channels etc

mythfilldatbase does run but the part with XMLTV faults with the following output:
Code:
config file /home/mythtv/.mythtv/antennexmltv is empty, Please delete and run me with --configure
....
FAILED: xmltv returned errorcode 65280
Error in 1:1 unexpected end of file

The file antenne.xmltv is empty when opened in nano.

I tried running tv_grab_dk --configure
It gave med the error:

Code:
using config filename /home/mythtv/.xmltv/tv_grab_dk.conf
Getting list of channels
No channels could be found at /usr/bin/tv_grab_dk line 238

the file /home/mythtv/.xmltv/tv_grab_dk.conf is also empty.

How do I solve this other that to reinstall R5F1 which was running danish xmltv without problems
/jk[/code]

Code:
...
.....
Loading from: /usr/share/mythtv/themes/default/base.xml
DiSEqCDevTree, Warning: No device tree for Cardid 0
DiSEqCDevTree, Warning: No device tree for Cardid 0
Please wait while Mythtv retrives the list of available channels
getting list of channels
No channels could be found at /usr/bin/tv_grab_dk line 238
Tv_grab_dk --config-file '/home/mythtv/.mythtv/antenne.xmltv' --configure
exited with status 5632
new Db ..........

You might want to try reinstalling R5F27, then grabbing the version of /usr/bin/tv_grab_dk from the R5D1 CD (search for instructions on using the CD as a rescue disk). Your old config file in /home/mythtv/.mythtv/antenne.xmltv should have been restored from the backup. You can also re-extract it from the backup using
Code:
cd /
tar zxvf /myth/backup/savedfiles.tar.gz ./home/mythtv/.mythtv/antenne.xmltv

Hi tcj.
Thanks for the quick reply.

I did even try the R5D1 and it didn't work - same error.

I seems like the tv_grab_dk.conf is empty no matter hvat version of KM I install.

I got a file with the stations that should be in the tv_grab_dk file.
I copied this content to the
/home/mythtv/.xmltv/tv_grab_dk.conf
and to the file
/home/mythtv/.mythtv/antenne.xmltv
Antenne is my selected sourcename in KM.

Now everything is working in R5F27.

How do we get this fixed so everything works when Danes install KM?
